Short: The original text adventure
Uploader: kinder@teaching.physics.ox.ac.uk
Type: game/role
Adventure was the first ever text adventure, written by Will Crowther and
Don Woods, circa 1977. Enclosed in this archive are three versions:
A 350 point version, believed to be very close to the original. It
has been converted to Inform (a very powerful adventure game language
(which is available from Aminet)). Inform and the conversion were both
written by Graham Nelson.
A 550 point version, originally written by David Platt. This version
adds all sorts of new features and puzzles to the original. Ported to
the Amiga by David Kinder.
A 660 point version, written by Mike Arnautov, based on several earlier
versions (including the 550 point version). Ported to the Amiga by
David Kinder.
